Why Sustainability Practices are Important? Effects of Climate Change and Global Warming.
-
As humans, every aspect of our life is reliant on the natural environment. This includes the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, the clothes we wear and the products that are made and sold to create jobs and drive the economy.
-
But the environment is getting deteriorated day by day due to human centric activities and it is leading to Global Warming of our planet.
-
Global Warming is a phenomenon, which is caused by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, mainly from human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation and farming.
-
According to estimates, the average global temperature has increased by about 0.8 degrees Celsius over the past 100 years, moreover, will increase by 2°C by 2050.
-
This will lead to devastating results.

-
Glaciers and polar ice will melt and are already melting, at rates 2-3 times in comparison to last century, even extinction of species of both plants and animals at present has become hundreds of times higher than the natural rate in the past.
-
To combat Global Warming, we should all develop Sustainability practices.
